HookAI ("we", "our", or "the app") is a content generation tool for short-form video creators.

Information we collect

HookAI is designed to minimize data collection:

Topics you enter are sent to AI providers to generate hooks, titles, and scripts. We do not store topics on our servers (there is no backend).
Theme preference is saved locally on your device (localStorage).
API keys you optionally configure are stored locally in the app bundle via environment variables and are not transmitted to us.

HookAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data retention

Content you generate remains on your device until you clear it. We do not retain copies on our servers.

Your rights

Because we do not operate a backend or user accounts, there is no account data to access or delete. You may uninstall the app to remove all locally stored preferences.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes.
